Kevin Barnes is on a mission. He wants to see that the Mortgage Industry steps up and starts training their employees the correct way. He is the VOICE that says, "We are falling short on educating and training our employees on the true basics, of what "Misrepresentation and Fraud" really is. Kevin says the true cost of doing business is not to expect and accept losses. It should be taking a proactive stance that says our company has a ZERO tolerance policy when it comes to FRAUD. That along with educating our team members on the front end and not wanting take losses on the back end.
Integrity needs to be brought back into the Mortgage Industry. That would be "DOING THE RIGHT THING WHEN NO ONE ELSE IS AROUND". This, along with building zero tolerance policies when it comes to Fraud and Misrepresentation.
Kevin beat the system for over $124 million dollars and served a five year sentence for making false statements. When released in 1997, Kevin set out to beat the system once again. This time by proving that the Mortgage Industry doesn't truly due it's due diligence, when it comes to hiring and training. Kevin was hired by three of the largest Lenders and fifteen different Mortgage Brokers. Yet not one of them did a complete and thorough back ground check, nor did any of them offer TRUE front line FRAUD training such as the RED FLAGS of Mortgage Fraud. They wanted to train on sales and product knowledge and assumed that everyone knows how to take a loan application and not commit misrepresentation. Well Kevin is here to tell you that they were so WRONG.
Kevin was taught how to get loans through the system by the industry insiders. By simply asking questions, the Account Executives and Underwriters would tell him exactly how to structure these files and what it takes to get aloan package through their system.
A man with experience is never at the mercy of a man with a theory. So when we teach our classes and seminars, what we teach is not from the perspective of theory, but from real experiences, which is much more powerful.
